Agreement

These terms apply to the Garage Gyan website, app and courses, operated by CAR TOOL INDIA (GSTIN 23BVGPJ7366G1ZH). By registering or using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who may enrol

You must be 16 or older and provide accurate registration details. The service is intended for automotive technicians, students, workshop owners and auto electricians.

Your account is for one person

One account is for one person. Do not share your login, password or OTP with anyone — including colleagues in the same workshop.

We monitor account use. If the same login is used from more than one device at the same time, the running session is ended automatically and the account may be suspended while we verify it. What happens then:

First instance — the account is suspended and you are asked to reset your password.
Repeated sharing — access is terminated permanently, with no refund of any amount paid.
Reselling or group streaming — lessons shown to a group, screen-recorded, re-uploaded or resold without written permission are treated as a breach of the content licence and end access immediately.

If you believe someone else has your login, write to contact@garagegyan.com and we will reset it.

Course content licence

Lessons, videos, PDF notes, quizzes and diagrams remain the property of CAR TOOL INDIA. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to view them for your own learning. Recording, downloading, re-uploading, translating or distributing the content in any form is prohibited.

Free and paid content

Some courses and lessons are free, including 7 days of free access to all content of the Diagnostic Master course. Free content may change or be withdrawn. Paid content is described on its course page along with price and scope at the time of purchase.

Payments

Payments are accepted through UPI, Razorpay (cards, netbanking, wallets), Google Play in-app purchase, the Apple App Store and direct bank transfer. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Purchases made through Google Play or the App Store are also governed by those stores’ terms.

Refunds

Course access is digital and delivered immediately, so payments are non-refundable. Duplicate or failed transactions are handled as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to breach, reverse engineer or disrupt the platform.
Do not upload unlawful, abusive or infringing material in comments or doubt sessions.
Do not use the platform to advertise competing services.

Service availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Lessons, schedules and launch dates may change. Planned maintenance will be announced in the app where possible.

Training is guidance, not a guarantee

The courses teach diagnostic and repair methods. Results on a particular vehicle depend on its condition, your tools and your judgement. See the Disclaimer for the limits of what the training covers.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CAR TOOL INDIA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of earnings, or damage to vehicles, components or equipment arising from the use of the training. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where payment fails, or where required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
